A small, focused group. Equity research and trading on one side, product and operations on the other, and a shared leadership and operations spine across the whole company. We hire slowly. Most of our best people came through referrals or through working on a venture with us first.
The team behind IMG Trading Systems — the equity-trading arm of FiduVentures. Equity research veterans, quantitative analysts, and AI engineers working together on signal generation, pattern recognition, and risk management. They run the entire trading pipeline — from technical screening to fundamental validation to intraday position management.
Runs IMG Trading Systems's trading system end-to-end. Equity research, quantitative modelling, rules-based signal screening, and real-time position management. The team blends fifteen-plus years of sell-side and buy-side research experience with modern systematic engineering — because the gap between identifying a pattern and acting on it is where returns live or die.
Screens the most liquid names in the US and Hong Kong equity universes for technical accumulation and momentum signals. US positions are day-traded intraday; HK positions are swing-traded over days to weeks. Runs fundamental validation on candidates that pass the screen. Sizes positions by conviction and risk parameters. Monitors every open position against its entry thesis in real time. Recycles capital when signals fade. No gut calls — the system is rules-based and repeatable.
The studio operates as an internal venture arm of FiduVentures — building and shipping applied-AI products alongside the equity-trading arm. Two dedicated teams: one for product and engineering, one for sourcing and manufacturing. Sourcing sits at the centre because it's where most internal venture builders fail.
Design, product management, software, AI/ML, and hardware integration. Each active venture has a dedicated PM and engineering lead. The team also owns the studio's shared infrastructure — model serving, data pipelines, deployment.
Supplier identification, vetting, contracting, and ongoing QA. Maintains a vetted supplier network across Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Suzhou, runs the studio's supplier scorecard, and handles inbound and outbound freight. This is the team we make sure is over-resourced.
The founder and operating leadership, together with legal, finance, hiring, and external partnerships. This team sets thesis for the company, allocates capital across IMG Trading Systems and the studio portfolio, and manages relationships with partners, suppliers, and co-investors.
The founder and operating leadership. Sets thesis for the company, allocates capital, sources new opportunities, and manages relationships with investors and co-investors. Also houses legal, finance, hiring, and external partnerships — the functions that keep both IMG Trading Systems and the studio running.
We're a small team and we hire slowly. Most of our best people came through referrals or through working with us on a venture before joining full-time. If you've shipped something in one of our sectors — or in systematic trading — and are curious about the studio model or IMG Trading Systems, send a note.
Send a note ->The whole company runs on the same cadence. Weekly venture and trading standups, monthly reviews of new opportunities, quarterly portfolio and strategy reviews, and an annual offsite. IMG Trading Systems and the studio don't report to each other — but they share the same room, the same infrastructure, and the same standard for what "done" means.
Each active venture and each open trading strategy gets a check-in. What moved, what's blocked, what needs a decision.
Full team reviews new opportunities — venture candidates and trading strategies. Go, no-go, or back for more work.
Every active venture and every live strategy gets a full review against its entry thesis. Continue, pivot, or cut.
Two days, off-site, no slides. What worked, what didn't, and where the thesis needs to move for the next year.
We read every submission. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and usually point you somewhere better.
